Do you need our help?
Before you call us, check these items to ensure you really need a service tech:
- Make sure your thermostat is set to “On” and in the “Cooling” mode.
- Check your cooling system switch to make sure it is “On”. This is typically an older toggle switch and may or may not have a Red cover plate.
- Check your circuit breaker to ensure that you have not had a nuisance trip and your AC system does have power.
- If your breaker or system switch was off, after turning the power on, give it a few minutes: many systems have a built-in time delay.
- Check your air handler or furnace filter. It has not been changed recently change it.
- Check the condition of your outdoor unit coil. Is it obstructed with leaves or other debris? If so, if it is possible to clear the obstruction do so while being careful not to damage the coil.
After checking these items, if your AC System is still not running in properly call us and we’ll dispatch a service tech to help!
Air Conditioning Maintenance Agreements
If your AC system is fine today but you want more peace of mind, consider our air conditioning Maintenance Agreement. Before the cooling season, we’ll perform a complete air conditioning check. We’ll inspect your system, if necessary clean your indoor and outdoor coils, change your disposable indoor air filter (as needed), inspect your refrigerant lines, and test run your system to ensure proper operation.
