Save Time & Money? Before You Call Check These 5 Things:

Check these things before you call for furnace repair:

Change your air handler filter and re-start your system.
Check you circuit breaker panel to ensure that your heat pump system breaker is “ON”.
Make sure your “SYSTEM SWITCH” is set to “ON”. This switch is typically a traditional toggle switch that may have a RED cover-plate.
Make sure your thermostat is “ON”, is set to “HEAT” in winter or “COOL” in Summer and the desired room temperature is set properly to initiate heat pump operation.
If your heat pump power was off, or if the thermostat was not set properly, after correcting the issue give it a few minutes: many systems have a time delay on start-up that can delay operation.

I gave the contract to Rocky Point Heating and Air Conditioning to install my heat pump - work was completed 2 months ago. I cannot say enough good things about Marco and his team. I don't know why anyone would choose another company. Rocky point was able to replace our furnace very quickly after it failed. Led by Marco, they were all thorough and proactive communicators, they saved us thousands from helping us make the right decisions, they went above and beyond in the work, and the whole team was very professional throughout the whole process. The other companies that we had quote and advise us really helped us make the decision. The competitors (also highly rated on google) were slow to get back to us or never did, they quoted us up to $10,000 more for things we didn't need, and one of them was using annoying and concerning pressure tactics to get us to sign before anyone else could quote.

We’re so happy with Rocky Pt. H&AC! We’d bought a new dual fuel, downdraft stove and were unhappy with the store’s install team “inspection”, estimate etc. So we called Marco at RPHAC and he sent Alex over a few hours later to take a look, then booked our install for the following week - at a much lower rate than the other company. Tristan arrived and got right to work on this difficult job (old stove vent went in different direction than the new stove’s), with Marco coming by to ensure all was going well. Rocky Point HVAC , the team of Marco, David, Tristan and Alex were fabulous to work with. Marco did our estimate promptly and scheduled our work in two stages as we needed the hot water portion done quickly. All work was completed within two weeks , efficiently and very cleanly.
